An ankle sprain is one of the most common injuries in sports. Many people don’t even see a doctor for the injury. Most heal on their own, and people return to sports and exercise without any trouble.
If you continue to have ankle pain weeks after an ankle sprain, how can you know if something is wrong? Is it possible that you have a worse injury? Or did you just not rehab the ankle enough, and you need physical therapy?
