It’s American Heart Month. A great way to keep your heart healthy is to avoid trans fats. They’re often used in packaged snack foods, margarines and fried fast foods to add flavor and texture. They clogs your arteries and increase your risk of heart disease or a stroke. Read the labels on all foods, and aim to only eat foods listed as 0 percent trans fat.
