The Food and Drug Administration approved the first at-home combination flu and COVID-19 test. The test requires a prescription. You collect a sample at home and ship it to a Quest Diagnostics laboratory for analysis. It can show you if you have the coronavirus, influenza A or B, which have very similar symptoms. Plus, you can take the test and learn the results while staying in quarantine, a potentially big step forward as we approach peak flu season.
