According to a new study, almost three in five Americans prefer being outdoors to stuck indoors. The survey, conducted by OnePoll, found men more likely to embrace outdoor activities than women. But over half of women claimed to have become “outdoor people” during the pandemic. One of the big outdoor activities has been exercise. Over 40 percent of adults now prefer walking, running and biking outdoors than doing indoor exercise. And the biggest reason for going outside? Two-thirds of respondents said they just wanted to get away from the people they’ve been stuck indoors with.
More people prefer being outdoors than ever
