Not nearly enough people in this country get enough exercise. But a new study out of Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital has found that just 12 minutes of cardiovascular exercise can have huge health benefits. Researchers found that adults who engaged in these short bursts of exercise had improvements in circulating metabolites involved in heart disease, diabetes, liver disease, inflammation and longevity. Even if you’re one of the people who claims you don’t have time to exercise, I’d challenge you to find 12 minutes in your day to work out.
