Adults who tested positive for COVID-19 were roughly twice as likely to have dined at a restaurant in the two weeks before becoming sick. According to the study from the CDC, which compared people who tested positive to those who didn’t, the groups were essentially the same in terms of wearing masks and going to gyms, hair salons, and shops. The study suggests many of the positive cases were linked to restaurants with poor air circulation.
