We know that cigarette smoking is bad for our health, but a new study shows that e-cigarettes are bad too, at least when it comes to COVID-19. The research, published in the Journal of Adolescent Health, looked at college-aged individuals and found that smokers of both cigarettes and e-cigarettes are twice as likely to contract the coronavirus. The American Lung Association states that inhaling vape emissions can lead to lung tissue inflammation, weakening your ability to fight off the infection.
