Yesterday, I explained why almost everyone fails to achieve their New Year’s resolutions. Here are four tips for success in your 2021 goal. First, find a partner, ask him or her to keep you accountable, and check in with that person daily or weekly. Announce your goal publicly, like on social media, and report your progress every day. Get a big wall calendar, and put an “X” on the day when you have completed your goal for that day. Then just don’t break the chain. And finally, understand why you set that goal, and remind yourself of it often.
