In the coming weeks, I am going to reopen Sports Medicine University – our educational and networking site for healthcare professionals that Gen the 10 Young woman reading smartphonework in sports medicine. I’ll share more details soon, but if you want more information, click here for more information.

Book I read this week: The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles by Steven Pressfield. As I said last week, I’ve had three of Pressfield’s nonfiction books on my iPad for months. When Bo Eason read from The Warrior Ethos at World’s Greatest Speaker Training, I knew I needed to read Pressfield’s work. The War of Art is amazing. I highlighted phrases and took notes throughout the book. I couldn’t put it down, and I read it in one sitting. I suspect I’ll read this book many more times. If you are pursuing any kind of creative endeavor like writing, painting or speaking, you should get this book and devour Pressfield’ wisdom.

Book I’m reading next week: Do the Work: Overcome Resistance and Get Out of Your Own Way by Steven Pressfield. The War of Art made such an impression on me that I am going to read his other nonfiction works. Next up for me is Do the Work. Get it, and let’s learn from it together!
