Today is my mom’s birthday. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever known – smart, hard-working, kind and so much more. I can only hope to be as successful – work and life – as she is. Have a wonderful birthday!
Book I read this week: Fully Alive: Lighten Up and Live – A Journey that Will Change Your Life by Ken Davis. The story Ken tells in the opening chapter is scary and eye opening. It would make me want to live Fully Alive as well! This book presents a great argument for living with more energy, enthusiasm and passion.
Book I’m reading next week: Secrets of Dynamic Communications: Prepare with Focus, Deliver with Clarity, Speak with Power by Ken Davis. I am constantly striving to be a better public speaker, so I am sure this book is good for me. Plus I attended Ken’s SCORRE conference a few years ago and really enjoyed it!
