A mechanical engineer at the University of Colorado recently described how to control the spread of the coronavirus indoors, like in your home or work.
To get contaminated air out of a building, either bring fresh air in from outside or remove the virus from the air inside.
To get more outside air into a building, open windows and doors frequently.
To remove the virus, use a high-efficiency particulate air filter that removes more than 99.97% of all particle sizes.
And if you walk into a building and it feels hot, stuffy and crowded, there’s not enough ventilation. Consider leaving.
