One-third of American parents say they won’t get their children vaccinated for the flu this year, according to the National Poll on Children’s Health. For all ages, but especially kids, getting the flu shot during the COVID-19 pandemic is more important than ever. Last year, 188 children died of the flu, although the CDC claims that number is likely much higher. Ideally, parents should have their children vaccinated by the end of October.
