With all the cookies and candies around us, it’s really hard not to gain weight over the holidays. Here are a few tips to help. Try to be active with your family and friends instead of watching TV. Control your holiday stress, which can cause you to eat more junk food. Use a smaller plate so you will eat less each meal. Limit liquid calories by drinking less alcohol. And while it’s ok to eat a dessert or other savory foods, maybe just limit how much of them you eat.
