COVID-19 has brought bad news for months, but here is some good news. The virus has brought families closer together.
According to research conducted by OnePoll, three out of every four parents were able to witness a key moment in their child’s life during the stay-at-home orders, from key life events such as being sworn into the National Guard, to developmental milestones like potty training, to heart-to-heart talks with their kids.
Families activities dominate the list of new activities Americans have added to their daily routines during the pandemic, including eating more meals together as a family, spending more time together, learning something new about a family member, and teaching a family member a new skill.
In fact, two of every three parents surveyed believe COVID-19 has brought them closer to their family than ever before.
