With tens of millions of Americans working from home during the pandemic, a new study finds that two-thirds say they are less likely to take sick days off. It’s hard to know why. Maybe any other illness you might have looks minor compared to COVID-19. Maybe you think your employer feels you can work while being sick because you’ve been working from home anyway. Regardless, if you’re sick, you should take the day off to rest. Not only will you recover faster, but you will do better work once you return.
