Far infrared sauna use has become extremely popular in recent years as a treatment to improve muscle recovery after tough workouts. First used by elite and professional athletes, it has become a staple at recovery centers for weekend warriors, recreational athletes and active adults.
Infrared sauna use is also reported to improve certain medical conditions. Some experts believe it can aid in heart function and cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, diabetes, poor digestion, depression, fatigue, and chronic muscle and joint pains. In this video, I discuss the science behind infrared sauna use and show you my experience using one.
Always talk to your doctor before trying this or any recovery treatment. If you are interested in infrared sauna, try it and see how it works for you.
